This is a perfect example of how much of a different badge you can create using the same elements of the one you started with. On the current CSKA Moscow badge, almost every element clashes with another, occupies the space awkwardly and makes it so the next one doesn't shine like it could or should.

As you can see, no element was drastically moved away from its original location, except for the iconic red star, which was merged with the footbal not only to optimize the use of space, but also to create something that can be used as a secondary logo and departs a little from the ones used in other "Central Sports Club of the Army", like Sofia.

The other elements, pretty much on the same position as in the current badge, have been noticeably modified to create something less saturated and much more modern. The "ЦСКА" retains the aesthetics, but ditches the unnecessary 3D effect and adopts a smaller size to fit effortlessly within the stripes and without line clashes. Meanwhile, the assymetrical wreath flows elegantly alongside the lateral sides of the shield while touching nothing and the "ПФК" is discreetly placed behind the bespoke red star, also while clashing with no other elements.

Finally, the color pallete changes a little, replacing some tones with slightly more vibrant ones and the black with a dark blue that merges everything together much better.
