Brief: Create a poster and brochure that promotes the photography of Karl Blossfeldt. His work will be displayed in the Whitechapel gallery. The poster and brochure must represent a preview of the photographer’s work while also promoting the gallery showing.

 

Solution: Karl Blossfelt’s photography is very organic in nature with macro photography of plants. It is also very geometric by focusing on the organic structures of the particular plants that he photographs. I wanted to convey the concept of intertwining organic and geometric by creating angular forms with both pieces.
