A Liminal Space - An Enquiry Into Religion

Religion as a phenomenon (to vaguely put it) is deeply ingrained in us. We want to look into the phenomenon itself, its associated protocols and the emotions it evokes - to subsequently understand what it is that makes this construct so complex. It is perceived to be extremely subjective and complex. Through this undertaking, we want to understand the whats, whys and hows of Religion.
This project is our way of getting answers to the first principle questions when it comes to religion, faith and beliefs.
We wish to gain more perspectives on the perception of faith. With the conclusion and synthesis of research, we aim
to understand why Religion is the way it is for people.
We started with addressing our own biases, and then decided to create a space where we wanted people to have personal journeys, to experience something, to arrive at a place where they start being aware of their biases, addressing them when necessary. It was about creating a wave of difference. Our space helps achieve that on a personal and societal level simultaneously.
This entire exhibit was our step one at making some difference in some minds who might have, through their journey in this space, picked up on the importance of addressing our biases. The data obtained is an exhibit for not us as organizers but as audiences.
