ZINE SURREALE

This is a zine with the theme of surrealism in street portraits.

I needed a few basic items for the photos, such as fishing line, fruits or some objects and a mirror. Additionally, I used newspapers with personalized front pages. I had to create them digitally first in order to later print them. The same principle applies to self-portrait photographs, which I took and edited myself.
I used these props in the photographs. For example, I used fishing line and an apple to create one of the shots.
Once I had utilized each mentioned item, I created the zine using a layout program, arranging the photos and printing it at a photocopy shop. Afterward, I had to do some finishing touches, such as cutting the zine with scissors and drawing with a ruler and marker.
I was inspired by the famous artwork "Son of Man" by René Magritte, and the entire zine was dedicated to him and his work. The zine depicts the anonymity of modern society, where individuals don't show their true faces in order to fit in.

Since faces are not visible, that face could be yours.
