Edge Coffee Table
Edge Coffee Table was a project designed for Normann Copenhagen in 2022 during my internship there, and it was launched at 3daysofdesign Copenhagen 2023.
With its simple mortise-and-tenon construction and purely natural materials, I wanted it to deliver a timeless and captivating expression. The table is crafted from 100% travertine. To minimize unnecessary waste, Edge is designed to utilize the way the travertine material is sourced. The natural stone is quarried from a travertine quarry, then cut into slabs of different sizes. Edge Coffee Table consists entirely of square travertine slabs in varying sizes, assembled in a simple, geometric construction. This way, the different slabs are used to make the most of the material.

以最简单的榫卯结构和最纯粹的材料，我希望它能带来永恒而又迷人的表现力。
