Instrutherm is a company specialized in measuring equipment for the most diverse areas such as occupational safety and health, laboratory, mechanics, electroelectronics, agriculture, and agribusiness, among others.
Based in São Paulo for over 35 years, it serves customers throughout Brazil, from small retailers to large multinational companies, in addition to distribution networks.
A sampling pump is a device used to collect samples of air, gases, or suspended particles in a specific environment. It is used to measure the concentration of chemicals or particles in the air, allowing for the assessment of air quality or identification of contaminants.
Sampling pumps are essential for environmental monitoring, occupational health, and industrial safety. They draw a precise amount of air through a filter or collection device, and the sample is subsequently analyzed in a laboratory.

Project Objective

"The objective of the project is to develop a safe and ergonomic sampling pump. The equipment should compete in the Brazilian market, being more technologically advanced and electronic, and less mechanical, than the pump currently marketed by Instrutherm (GilAir).
It is essential for the pump to be intrinsically safe, and desirable for it to be lighter and more compact. It is also important for it to have a production cost compatible with the product.
The visual identity of Instrutherm should be highlighted, working towards building a product family that conveys modernity and technology."
Features:
• Touch keyboard - prevents water and environmental dirt from entering, as well as dirt from hands. It does not wear out like conventional equipment.
• OLED display - color backlit - with a 62mm size for low or nonexistent ambient lighting work environments. Colorful for differentiating various information and facilitating handling, saving time during data collection.
• Plug and play - simplified system, just select the flow rate and start the collection. Eliminate the need for a computer and complex configurations.
• Low and high flow rates - capable of generating flow rates within a range of 200 ml/min to 5000 ml/min, allowing collection in sampling bags, Tedlar balloons, eliminating the need for adapters and optional accessories.
• Extra battery - one of the longest autonomies in the market, allowing for dust and gas collection for several days without the need for recharging.
• Compliance with standards - the pump complies with NHO-08 standards for the collection of suspended solid particulate matter in the air of work environments, ISO 13137:2013 for chemical agents in the air - collection of aerosols by filtration, Anvisa resolution-re n° 9 - technical standard 004, NIOSH, and OSHA.
• Robust construction - water splash-resistant and silent, with a rubber-free finish to prevent wear, dirt buildup, and degradation over time.
