So...I seem to spend a fair amount of time crawling around in the depths of our planet capturing images of mining.

Depths range from a shallow few hundred meters, to ultra-deep at 3970 meters. Frankly the amount of solid rock above your head makes no difference when it hits you, but the extremities of the conditions in humidity and heat can definitly be felt. Why do Ilove doing this work, I cant say, but hey I love the challenge of getting great images in these conditions.

These images have been taken in Gold mines in South Africe, Brazil, Argentina and Australia.
