Popsicle Factory - ZERO

ZERO - Popsicle Factory
This was a large project separated into several parts where we were hired by the company ZERO Brands

Our objective was to create a video in infinite loop where we would animate a factory with a 2D view from the front, we did several block ideas and storyboarding until we arrived at this main design, something with a more minimalist background and a design with emissive lights that would give it an extra charm to the factory.

We had the idea of making it with the main focus, showing Milk and Fruits, because for the brand it is very important to show this, since popsicles are 100% Milk and fruits as they should be originally made and without added sugars, keeping that in mind , fruits fall on the left side and milk falls on the right side, until we reach the mixer in the middle where the mixing process takes place and just below we have the freezer where the popsicle freezing process takes place.

Then we have the claw that was animated in order to collect each popsicle and place it on the conveyor belt where the popsicles will follow their course in the manufacturing process

The project had to be fast because it would be presented on the main page of the site so we used 732 frames in a cycle to do this process, below we will have more details of the creative process for those who are interested in knowing more details.
Lookdev

was something to think about in this project the colors were something that the client himself wanted to do, he wanted to bring the allusion of a True Factory, but a futuristic factory something premium and very sophisticated and that is why gray and white were widely used colors in our production in addition to burnt cement and more subtle plastics and metals to combine. Emission lights were added to give a design difference according to the color of the flavor being produced at the time.

Mechanical Arm

We made this claw model with an idea and a more rounded appearance and a way that passes a more fluid and robotic animation idea, it was totally necessary for the use of the factory and to develop an idea that could collect the popsicles from the transformer and mixer
