This piece was intentionally created with the goal of blending different styles. With hints of west coast, modern and industrial styles, this table is a very unique and interesting piece. Rough edges, straight vertical and horizontal lines as well as upcycled materials are just a few of the characteristics that make this design original.

The mahogany was treated with a hard wax-oil finish, a food-safe product that enriches the natural colours of the wood. The base, metal, was treated with a special acrylic patina, a treatment that gives the base an industrial look. The upcycled material is a vintage reclaimed cast iron floor grate which provided the inspiration for this piece.
