Design of a distributable selling tool easily deployed without delay.
The brief was to promote key sellingfeatures of DaTSCAN in a fresh and engaging way. Rep motivation was a keyrequirement as was the ability to distribute the material to a global fieldforce cost-effectively. The product needed to support all that the rep saidwhilst providing further information on the DaTSCAN product.
The creation of an iPad app was chosen togive reps a fresh angle on detailing. Animation is an engaging medium, both forthe reps and their audience and iPad delivery enables this to be used tomaximum effect – a presentation style that particularly suits the DaTSCAN detail.Electronic delivery reduces the cost that is attached to updating printedmaterials and it eliminates the inconvenience of making widespread overseasdeliveries by allowing instant access to the material.
A traditional detail aid was used as amodel to outsource the development of the iPad app in English, German, Spanishand Italian languages. Ad hoc distribution was then used to deploy the apps tothe devices with instantaneous ease.
Mobile format means that detailing is not restricted to thedoctor’s office, freeing reps to take selling opportunities as and when theyarise.
