EXPLORATION OF TIE AND DYE AND BLOCK PRINT
Tie and dye- Tie-dye is a term used to describe a number of resist dyeing techniques and the resulting dyed products of these processes. The process of tie-dye typically consists of folding, twisting, pleating, or crumpling fabric or a garment, before binding with string or rubber bands, followed by the application of dye or dyes.
BLOCK PRINTING
Block printing refers to the printing technique of pressing and stamping fabric with carved wooden blocks filled with colour. The traditional process of hand block printing on textiles, with rich natural colors, has been practiced in Rajasthan, India for around 500 years.
