Charlie the Wonder Dog - Site Subject Analysis

For this brief we were each asked to analyse and photograph a particular subject of our own choice - human, animal or otherwise. I chose my pet Koolie, Charlie, as my subject. He grew up on a farm but never made it as a fully fledged working cattle dog because of his short attention span. I shot this over the period of one afternoon when the sun was setting in Cottesloe, Perth. It was particularly interesting to see how he interacted with my Father (who was carrying out field work as a surveyor at the time) and the abundance of Traffic on Curtin Avenue that kept catching his attention.

The final outcome of this brief was to create a photographic montage piece of design. I was particularly inspired by a talking heads album I was shown by one of my lecturers at the time. 9 photos were used for the final piece. Enjoy.
