This is a still life image using prop roses, letters, and black ink. I also use a warm light for both of these two images but desaturated the background including the light to give it the soft light effect but keeping the strong presents of the light source without it overwhelming the viewer. For the image on the left I desaturated everything instead of the red on the rose and increase the saturation and vibrance to give it the solid bright red to make it stand out in the image. Then for the image on the right I lowered the saturation but also have the temperature go down to make the background have more of a cool background while also having the red rose still stand out with a warm tone while adding the black ink to the rose lying on the envelope to give it movement in the artwork.
