The Acura RLX Art of Style photography sessions took place in highly trafficked areas in each city and were designed to draw the attention of passers-by, who had access to Acura product specialists, and information on Acura products and the fashions on display. The local designers were selected based on fashion design that reflects the luxury, prestige and excitement of the Acura brand. In addition to posts on Acura Social media, the photography gathered from the fashion shoots in each city were represented in the 2013 fall/winter issue of Style Magazine, an exclusive publication for Acura owners distributed biannually to more than 800,000 subscribers.
"Luxury cars and high fashion go hand-in-hand, and the timeless beauty of the all-new Acura RLX represents the perfect complement to the work of up-and-coming American fashion designers," said Michael Accavitti, senior vice president of Automobile Operations. "Acura is a brand on the move, with cutting-edge technologies and sophisticated design, and this tour is an ideal platform to showcase the Acura brand and our new flagship product in a very dynamic and enticing way."
