This project is still evolving, but since the first wave of items with the new logo have started coming out I figured I'd go ahead and post it. Calcasieu Parish is implementing a program to crack down on litter. They wanted a strong message, also catchy, that lets people know that they will be enforcing the new litter fines. The local law are behind them 100% so we needed to always have that at the forefront of the campaign.

Here's the final logo based on the thumbnail sketch above. I decided on the color orange as the primary because the campaign centers around orange litter bags that will be handed out with the campaign message. Also, it sends the signal that littering is against the law because in our state. We see roadside clean up crews made up of supervised convicts...all wearing orange jumpsuits.

Here is a picture of one of the litter bag prototypes. On some products we've added "In Calcasieu Parish" to the original slogan/logo design.
