The goal for this project was to create packaging for a fictional candle company, Luxtī Candles. Luxtī comes from the latin "lūceō" meaning, "I shine, I show through, I become light". The candles are all wine-themed and come in a stemless wine glass. Each candle contains a set of wine pearls (used to chill a glass of wine); the set is revealed as the candle melts. Each candle is inspired by a specific wine, specifically the color and aroma; the packaging reflects such qualities. The overall style and feel is modern and elegant with a bit of playfulness. The target audience focused on Gen. X women.
