Google has consolidated AI departments of research into Google DeepMind
Google has introduced Google DeepMind as a new division comprising the DeepMind group and Google Brain, the Google Brain crew from Google Research. In the weblog post, DeepMind co-founder and CEO Demis Hassabis introduced that Google DeepMind will work “in shut collaboration throughout all Google products” in order to “deliver AI lookup and products.”
