Surface Pattern Design & Branding for Packaging
Repeat pattern of spices & herbs designed for Calicutts Spice Co. as part of their branding. Surface design used on tissue paper in the packaging of spice gift sets as well as a wallpaper mural in the local shop. Pattern design adds a preimumness to the brand and highlights the quality and craftsmanship of the product.
Line art illustrations of oregano, lavender, parsley, chives, lemon and honey were illustrated in a wood cut style. The little bee and juicy splash from the lemon add a whimsical feel that makes the product approachable. This simple and detailed illustration technique connects the original artisan vibe to the vision and goals of the company through surface design.
