The project revolves around the Crook Point Bascule Bridge, which was built in 1908 and abandoned in 1976. The goal of the project is to embark on a personal exploration of bridge and the area around it through poems, videos, and photos. By choosing to so many mediums each one has to co-exist without one stealing the spot light of another. I chose this method rather then having a large focus on one mediums is to better represent the way we as people experience life. I hope that as you examine the photographs the poems above each set would be echoing in your head. Then when you watch the video you are experiencing more then just the music and the frames of the video but the poems and photographs are also coming back in forth in your mind. Therefore completing the experience.
