‘Youth and Technology’ explores how the use of modern technology has the tendency to isolate and desensitise youth in the western world. The nature of these devices to over-stimulate can also result in a strong dependency, especially with the malleable mind of a child. The implications of this phenomenon include the procrastination in developing any direct social skills, due to the urge to withdraw and avoid any confrontation.
