From The Bruery website: "Evan Kleiman, host of KCRW's Good Food, was inspired to collaborate with Patrick Rue and The Bruery after enjoying a homemade Rhubarb Raspberry Pie...Specialty grains were chosen to mimic the crust, and rhubarb and raspberries were used in varying stages of the brewing and fermentation process. The resulting beer is reminiscent of a fresh country pie, cooling on a farmhouse windowsill."

 

In keeping with the "pie-inspired" character of the beer, I created a label which is fun and folksy, with design elements that recall picnics, diners, and other such Americana. The juicy color palette is reminiscent of raspberries, rhubarb, and pie crust.
