CF Napa’s Colorful Refresh of Fieldnotes Vodka
Following the success of their Fieldnotes 90-proof gin with a new green-hued label, La Crosse Distilling Co. re-engaged CF Napa to reimagine their vodka packaging. Nestled in the heart of Wisconsin’s Driftless Region, La Crosse Distilling Co. celebrates the heart and history of their untouched bioregion. The design needed to remain consistent with the portfolio while bringing new life and color to the brand.
Branching off their original packaging design, CF Napa continued the Farmer’s Almanac-inspired label with hand-drawn type and drawings of local flora. A tranquil blue color was selected to reflect the water locally sourced from glacial aquifers and used to distill Fieldnotes vodka. The hummingbird icon and illustrated branches were gilded in gold foil to give proper prestige to the important pollinator, create extra visual interest, and provide a cue to the exceptional care put into every bottle of this vodka.
