I present my most recent project.
After nearly 6 month I finally finished my short film "Mainline" just in time to submitting it to the "My Rode Reel Competion". I wrote the script (together with Manuel), operated the camera, edited the film, did the visual effects and sound design and also made the make-up on set.
"Mainline" is a 5-minute short film shot and playing in Hamburg (Germany). It is about a young drug addict robbing an innocent woman to get money for his next shot. Although everything seems to be off to a "good start" for the main character, it is slowly becoming an unexpected unreal experience.
Behind the Scenes
The short film was shot in Hamburg, Germany, over the course of two days. It was filmed with 2 Canon 700D, a cinema lens, shoulder rig, a dolly and a glidecam hd-1000. Audio was captured on location using a RØDE NTG-2 Shotgun microphone. For the studio sound design the NTG-2 and the NT1-A were used. The film was edited using Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects. It was colorgraded within Speedgrade. The footage was 3d tracked in Blender. The "smoke monster" was also modelled, simulated, animated and rendered in Blender.
