Iceberg - Carlsberg's new microbrewery

A microbrewery
calving from its founder Carlsberg,
going its own way,

exploring uncharted and exciting waters in beer making.
Icebergs are 10% over water and 90% under water, which is the inspiration behind the design of the bottles. The bottles are of tinted and slightly transparent glass, however the top is sprayed solid white.
The label gives the consumer more information than a normal label on the bottle. This is because consumers of microbrewed beer tend to be more interested in the beer and the brewing method then usual beer drinkers.
The label when it is unfolded, side one.
Side two. When the label is unfolded, the layout is fragmented, inspired by the iceberg calving.
The beer coasters have a geometrical and asymmetrical shape, inspired by the shape and translucency, reflecting the iceberg.

In order to maximize the taste experience, there is a specially designed glass for each type of beer. Therefore I have chosen not to redesign the shape of the glasses, but rather to frost approximately 10 % of the glass. This will work as a measuring mark as well as harmonizing with the identity of the microbrewery.

Sketch of the brewpub. It will mostly be made from transparent and white glass. It will be placed in the water by the seaside, connected to the main land with a glass bridge. This will give the consumer the feeling of walking out to an iceberg when visiting the brewpub.
