Collapse signifies crumbling and breaking, and the collapse of the world as we perceive it becomes the starting point for revolutionary thinking and rebirth. The artist aims for a departure from the everyday and a revitalization of thought, closely intertwined with the concept of collapse.

The artist believes that people's perception of craft objects is somewhat rigid. Instead of merely observing craft objects, the artist considers the direct sensory experience of feeling the artist's thoughts in a three-dimensional way as the transcendent value of craft. It is also the direction that craft should aim for in the future. The artist's work goes beyond the traditional boundaries of craft, expressing craft objects that freely transform and change their forms through intervention and modification, visualizing the potential of craft and the limits of indirect perception. The artist focuses on the commonly seen everyday object, the sponge, and incorporates it into the artwork. The artist is drawn to the sponge's inherent qualities of "resilience" and "freedom," and chooses it as a suitable medium to convey the artist's proposition of escaping from the rigid everyday. The sponge, influenced by external forces, collapses and freely changes its form, only to be restored to its original shape through elasticity. Sensory communication between the artwork and the audience can take place through the objectness of the sponge, and the craft object that is transformed by the direct intervention of the audience induces curiosity and interest. Furthermore, the process of intervention also occurs between the artist and the artwork. Depending on the form of intervention, the flexibility and freedom of the sponge's transformation become a potential material to embody the artist's artistic world.

Through the artist's craft intervention of binding, a 2cm sponge sheet is reborn as a craft object. The artist presents a transforming object - the sponge substituted pot. The pot, made of sponge material, is crumpled by our hands and then pops back up. The sponge, tightened with cable ties, forms a regular pattern, reminiscent of the craft technique of intaglio. The static and dignified pot is transformed by the energy of richness and flexibility inherent in the sponge, and the juxtaposition of these two contrasting images triggers a collapse within our perception.

2cm의 스펀지 한 장은 작가의 공예적 개입인 묶기를 통해, 공예품으로 재탄생된다. 항아리를 스펀지 소재로 치환한 transforming object- pot( 변형하는 사물-항아리)을 선보인다. 항아리는 우리들의 손에 의해 찌그러지며, 곧 띠용하고 튀어 오른다. 케이블 타이로 조여진 스펀지는 규칙적인 무늬를 형성하는데, 이는 공예 기법인 투각기법을 연상시킨다. 정적이고 고고한 항아리는 스펀지가 간직한 풍부함과 유연함의 에너지로 전환되며, 두 이미지의 이질적 충돌은 우리들의 인식 속에서 붕괴를 일으킨다.
