SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE
This watercolour artwork is inspired by my long trip to Sydney in 2023.
I remembered the days when I walked around the Opera House and enjoyed the beauty of its architecture in the noise of the bay. I saw this building every day as I walked along Mosman (an area on the coast opposite the Opera House), I saw it when I swam across the bay on the ship Sydney Fairies (Sydney Water Transport). This building, so majestic but penetrated with calm the rays of freedom, has never left me unfazed.
I can’t tell you what time of day this building seemed more beautiful to me. Its white roofs absorb every blip at sunset and dawn. So in my drawing, I showed a lot of the colours reflected on the Opera House. In my memory it will always be a phenomenon that attracts light.
Thank you!
