Years ago the town was textile industry centre, nowadays turning into a student city. The project includes learning spaces for post-graduate students, individual work studios, auditorium, social and commercial area and the car park in the underground. The building is placed on the site of former industrial buildings, right above the one of the main streams of the town. Mountain landscape of the town force to specific way

Our idea was to connect Engineering Faculty, situated above our building site, with a well designed but abandoned park beneath it, through special entrance area, sheltered with contrastive, red roof. Its form was inspired by mantis, aggressive shape is meant to focus attention of passers-by, gathering citizens in parks surroundings.
