DDPC&DDPH는 동대문 디자인 플라자를 상징하는, 명함 관련 용품입니다. 사회 초년생들이 첫 직장을 가지고 자신의 첫 명함을 받으면 명함 관련 용품을 필요로 하며, 젊은 청년들의 첫 명함 용품이 되어줌으로써 DDP를 연상하고 브랜드 이미지에 긍정적인 영향을 끼칠 수 있습니다.

DDP Punching Plate

The punching plate, which symbolizes Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP), not only protects the outer walls, but also shows the interior of the building through the gap between the pattern holes.

동대문 디자인 플라자 (DDP)를 상징하는 타공 금속판은 외벽을 보호할 뿐만 아니라 패턴 속의 구멍 사이로 건물 내부를 보여줍니다.

DDPC and DDPH apply Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) punching plate patterns as design elements, and utilize various illustration cards to induce more casual and young consumers to purchase business card-related products. It also makes a distinction between business card cases & holders with a rather rigid image of office environments or business supplies. Various types of illustrations, from text to characters to photos, allow you to change the illustrations appropriately in various environments.

DDPC와 DDPH는 동대문 디자인 플라자 (DDP)의 타공 패턴을 디자인 요소로 활용하여, 다양한 일러스트레이션 카드를 통해 명함 관련 제품을 캐주얼하고 젊은 소비자들의 구매 욕구를 유발합니다. 사무환경 또는 비즈니스 용품에 대한 다소 경직된 이미지의 명함 케이스 및 꽂이에서 차별점을 둡니다. 텍스트부터 캐릭터, 사진까지 다양한 타입의 일러스트를 통해 여러 환경에서 일러스트를 적절히 변경하여 사용할 수 있습니다.

Production Process

Using paper printing, prototyping was carried out to identify the size, quantity, and location of punching plate, and prototyping was carried out through CNC. Press molds were manufactured for the mass production process, and efficient mass production was possible by placing the business card case and the punch position in the same place. In addition, post-processing finishes such as sanding and anodizing have increased the material and strength of aluminum to protect against scratches and improve the completeness of the product.

종이 인쇄를 활용해 프로토타입 목업을 진행하여 타공 구멍의 크기및 수량, 위치 등 파악했으며, CNC 가공을 통해 시제품 제작을 진행했습니다. 양산화 과정을 위해 프레스 금형을 제작했으며, 명함 케이스와 꽂이의 타공 위치를 동일한 곳에 위치함으로써 효율적인 양산 제작할 수 있었습니다. 또한 샌딩, 아노다이징 등 후가공 마감 작업으로 알루미늄의 재질감과 강도를 높여 스크래치로부터 보호하고 제품의 완성도를 높였습니다.
