"Profunda extracción" is a visual research project developed as part of the "Deformación Programada" exhibition at the Kasko gallery in Basel. This project aims to represent the manifestation of a free Latin America through visual codes inspired by Jorge Baradit story "La conquista mágica de América". This project tells the ongoing abuse of extraction and mining by consumerist governments and how it affects present-day societies, leading them to transform their processes of habitation and philosophies. This creates a deep extraction that not only affects our land but also our way of dwelling in it.
