A poster on the history of the typeface Sabon.
Sabon has a rich history behind it. It was inspired by Garamond, a 16th Century typeface, but modernized. I wanted to show how Sabon is a bridge from classic type to modern type with the use of typography in my poster. The bold red text at the top of the poster brings the viewer to a more modern layout, but as they look downwards, the style gradually becomes more of a classic layout.
