DESCRIPTION
 
The "Horticultural Haven" was a group project between 5 individuals, including myself, for the Environment & Level Design course at SCAD.
 
We set out to create a full, comprehensive 3D environment within the game-engine known as UDK (Unreal Development Kit). Our environment is meant to be a fantastical, yet mysterious, enclosed cavernous space where exotic and mystical plants somewhow thrive in abundant ways.
 
My contributions to the project included working on the model, textures, and materials for several assets you'll see in the scene including the Glowing Metal Crate, the Holograms, the Modular Boulders (that make up the cavern walls), and the Holographic Night Sky above the whole scene.
 
Additionally, I was responsible for set dressing (organizing all our assets and placing them within the scene) as well as lighting the environment and editing the camera fly-through into the final cinematic above.
 
The song playing in the background is entitled "Lumination" and is an original composition by myself, now available for digital download as part of the album "The Second Axis."
