I worked in a team of 6 people, finishing a 30sec animated bumper for the 2023 Annecy Animation festival.
This year's theme was Mexico. As a subject, we found a tribe of people that live in the Sonoran Desert, located in the north of Mexico called the Tohono O'odham. A part of their new year's tradition is gathering the fruits of Saguaro cacti and fermenting them into wine.
I worked on production design, establishing many key visual concepts in the
pre-production stage, then moving onto making the layouts for animation and finishing the background paintings.
