Colours and textures of the exterior of the ship were used to create abstract images that suggest they could be paintings and not photographs.

Split toning in Adobe Lightroom was used to create the effects below. Combined with a bit of grain the image starts to lost it's original photographic appearance.

Increasing the luminance in Adobe Lightroom starts to diminish the detail and increases the paint like qualities that the colours have.

This image shows how fully abstract these photographs can be. The scuffs and marks look like brush strokes. The composition is interesting and unique to this vessel - a lack of a paint job really made for some unusual colours and marks.

The solid colours and a combination of textures make this image visually striking and unbelievable that it started out as a photograph of a ship. The blue strip acorss the middle adds a bold separation between the weight of the red area and the more degraded bottom half.
