A live gig streamed from an underground train. Because, why not? For the launch of nationwide 5g we bagged local indie pop darlings SOBS - just before their trip to SXSW - to perform a live set streamed exclusively over the 5g connection from the Singapore North South MRT line.
A world-first, the serious logistical challenges were overcome with the help of StellarAce and AsiaWorks. The gig - livestreamed on Facebook, Instagram and Youtube - generated over 20,000 views, 4,800 likes, comments and shares across Singtel's social media platforms. And won a gold and three silvers at Marketing Interactive HASHTAG ASIA AWARDS, two gold awards at The Effies two golds at the Marketing Events Awards and a gold and a bronze at The Marketing Excellence Awards.
