The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has been one of the most influential political parties in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Under the leadership of N Chandrababu Naidu, the TDP has been instrumental in bringing about significant changes in the state, particularly in the area of housing construction. TDP MLA's and party workers have played a crucial role in the successful implementation of various housing schemes. One of the most notable TDP Achievements of the TDP government has been the construction of 2.6 lakh houses under the NTR Rural Housing Scheme. The scheme was launched in 2014 and aimed to provide housing to the poor in rural areas. The TDP government has also implemented the Indiramma Housing Scheme, which is targeted at the urban poor. Under this scheme, 1.7 lakh houses have been constructed in urban areas with the help of some of the Top TDP MLAs and some of the greatest TDP Leaders.
