Personal project to make a poster design for one of my favorite films. 

Inspired by Ash, and his journey to embrace his imperfections throughout the film.

This poster took many different forms before it finally reached what would be its final version. 

I ended up creating a few elements that ended up not being used. I tried them isolated and as a pattern but they felt like too much visual information.

Eventually, stripping down the elements started to make more sense and it ended up creating a more pleasing astethic. Even though Wes' films are very intricate and detailed in the visual composition, having a minimalist approach was a way to try something different.
