Anarres (& Urras)
This is the 9th poster illustration in the Worlds series - and an echo to the Urras work. Both of these are inspired by the planets - or rather planet and satellite - from 'The Dispossessed', 1974 by Ursula K. Le guin.
I made these with an idea of them working loosely as a diptych. They can of course work independently but I believe they complement each other quite well. I like to believe that Urras shows the wealth of the temperate, lush planet, while Anarres fluently conveys the harsh environment, the longing, and the undying dream.
Aside from the colour palette, both of these are united by the protagonist, Shevek, in the foreground.
