KID KROW - CONAN GRAY ALBUM COVER ILLUSTRATION
This project is my final project for Digital Illustration course this semester. At first, I was overwhelmed because as a fangirl I've been, there were so many artists/albums I wanted to draw and Conan Gray was one of the motivations for me.
Recently, I've been into sketching style so I wanted to try a new style with not too many rendering but using sketchy lines to make the artwork pops. And I thought that Kid Krow is the perfect album for this kind of art style.
After listening to the whole album and reading Conan Gray's interviews about this album, I pictured in my head a lonely and grumpy boy. He didn't know how to fit in with his new life, new environment so he decided to hide himself under the carton box but deep down, he still wanted to be seen, to be loved.
