The cover art depicts the mood of the song using colours, visual imagery and symbolism.
The song is EDM which was out of my comfort zone but brought about a strong mood. It felt strange, suspenseful, eerie misty, toxic, evil and vile. Eventually I reached the word- OBSCURE
I researched the artist- Robot Koch and found that he uses a lost of elements of biology such as cells under a microscope as album art,
The album art I created is a growing embryo inside an egg with a
light shining through it, which is an element of nature that is obscure and
wants to remain unseen. The fact that it is made seen through the cover
art is in itself toxic and cruel. And the embryo depicts the growing suspense and 'on edge' nature of the song.
