Article 33 of the Law for the Free Domestic Fauna and in Captivity says: “One restricts the property and possession of canine pit-bull. Therefore, who exert such rights on these animals will be subject to fulfillment of the following requirements: to permanently maintain them in conditions of captivity, they will have to fulfill the corresponding sanitary requirements, to adopt the measures of securing necessary to avoid the escape of the units ".

Although it follows in process of east discussion article on the part of the National Assembly, the certain thing is that the existence in Venezuela of the American Pit Bull Terrier, the American Staffordshire, the Staffordshire Bull Terrier, as well as its crossings and mestizations, is hanging of a thread. In this case we developed this campaign, to raise awareness to the problematic and to call attention since dogs are sentient beings therefore deserve their freedom to life in our society
