As a new brand within an extremely competitive, oversaturated fragrance  market, Anthea  required a  packaging system that would help them cut through the noise. In an attempt to make it happen, they sought out our help. We started by identifying that the product should instantly communicate its quality and effectiveness if it’s to have any chance of standing out on the shelves. A key consideration was what people value from other high-end fragrance products: transparency, efficacy and clean ingredients.

So we kept the packaging clean and simple and the visual identity has a matter-of-fact, technical aesthetic, making it feel reliable, well-made and honest. The minimalist aesthetic allows the natural colors of the products to emerge through the clear glass bottle. The crisp, elegant typeface also continues the fresh, beautifully understated design. Lastly we tried to reunite the  fragrance families under a halo of botanical aesthetics and reminiscences of a better world defined by personality, emotion, and the value of small gestures and details.
