GUIDING PRINCIPLE
Go Beyond
In a time where consumer expectations are constantly rising, it is imperative that Baarámee provide more than just a second home. It must be a noteworthy experience. More often than not, the most memorable experiences are in the surprises, discoveries and details.

BRAND STORY
The character of Baaramee is brought to life as a spirit who guards and protects the island. She will provide you with everything you need and ask for nothing in return but for you to find comfort and true happiness in her offering. Although she may not reveal herself she is omnipresent. You may hear her whispers in the wind, feel her nourish your soul or find she has given you answers to questions you weren’t even aware you had. ‘She’ is Baarámee. A being that welcomes you to a place of tranquility, where your privacy is protected and the personal journey to the awakening of one self encouraged. Baarámee watches over a small island in the gulf, that combines the richness of traditional orient splendor, with the luxury and convenience of a world class contemporary destination.

CREATIVE CONCEPT
Looking closely at the folklore of Thailand and surrounding countries, legends about the Himmapan forest abound. This forest finds it's home at the base of 5 mountain peaks in the Himalaya Mountains (represented now in the typography of the Baarámee marque). This forest is described as a kind of Eden, where mere mortals can only step foot if invited. The forest is protected by half-beings, or combined-animals. Each is the hero or their own legend and provide morals that reflect the 10 virtues of Buddhism.
In creating a bespoke customer journey, we created our own interpretations of ten of these creatures, which are used as cues to self-discover as a guest enjoys the different amenities offered in the hotel. Taking the concept even deeper, everything has been considered as part of a living, breathing island. Even the signage is a vertical garden that opens and blooms at different times of day.
A crafted customer journey takes guests through all the steps, from their arrival at the airport to their evening stroll on the island, where they can contemplate the 10 virtues of Buddhism as they pass ten bespoke markers placed on a fire lit lane.
