For this third-year project, I responded to a D&AD New Blood competition brief by creating a new interest in Penguin Classics through a series of vector-illustrated posters interpreting significant locations from novels published in the Penguin English Library Collection.

I produced three designs for the classics Dracula, Pride and Prejudice, and Peter Pan. My concept followed the idea of the penguin silhouette as a vibrant 'window into worlds' and reflected the immersive nature of reading from a fresh perspective.

Thanks to the adaptability of the designs, I created A5 postcards with their own quote, synopsis and genre/trope mark tailored to each respective classic. These flyer-like designs could be tucked inside the front covers of novels to collect or promote bookshops. What's more, I developed notebook and phone case merchandise designs.
