' LIFE '
In 2023, I held a solo exhibition titled 'Shining Star ' showcasing the artworks I had created up until then. During the exhibition, I received a new commission from a visitor. The client desired "future life" to be expressed through the animal symbol of a lion.
The client wanted the lion to embody the central theme of "symbolizing energy" that they possessed. He also wanted his family and his friend's family to be painted together in the meadow below.
The aurora carries the meaning of the exchange of energy between entities.
I chose to represent the connection between Earth and the universe as the 'Aurora.'
When expressing my artwork, I have signature elements that I consider important to me. They are three things: space, planets (stars), and light (color). These elements are the source of my greatest interest, as well as the joy I feel while expressing myself. When creating artwork, I proceed with the hope that these elements are always represented in my artwork.
"The value of making experience a work" is one of the most important driving forces of my artwork. It was an incredible experience to be able to express someone's life through my artwork.
The central lion's prominent mane contains meanings related to three different spaces.
