Financial Services: Heuristic Review of enterprise apps

Heuristic review of 3 financial enterprise apps
As part of my work as UX Researcher at Tigerspike, I conducted a heuristic review of three enterprise apps for RBS, a major British retail bank in order to explore where there was room for improvement to optimise them for Apple’s latest operating system, iOS 7.

The Heuristic Review involved an evaluation of the apps’ user experience and their usability, with its main goal being to identify any potential problems and issues with the user experience and the interface design. It also included recommendations to enhance the user experience by suggesting features that are purposely designed for iOS 7 to ensure the enterprise apps follow Apple’s mobile design approach on its iOS apps.

The study included:
• A cognitive walkthrough of the 3 apps
• A heuristic product review
• Best practice recommendations for iOS 7 redesign
• A technical product review of the three apps
• Best practice code recommendations for iOS 7 redesign

My role:
