P05 – Girly Color Block
There are many color for the product line of Poc P05, it is the reason why I decided to conduct the photoshoot which was inspired by fashion movement – color block, to only enhance the colors, especially for females, but also to play the “mix and match” game for a colorful campaign.
The first challenge of this campaign is mixing outfits with the products in harmony, not only in a single image but also in an album. Secondly, the composition and lighting setting are considered with care as well. Because the model is a female and this is a commercial photoshoot, I decided to used soft lighting pattern from studio strobes to achieve the desired results on set.
For the composition, I purposely compose the images with not only the model’s fresh moments but also the beautiful angles of the products in common and daily activities of young generation, as the main buyers. In addition, I was also cautious with the background in each section of the photoshoot, because it helps the album telling the story, which means the background needs to be meaningful for each activity.
Finally, retouching is an essential phase to enhance and polish the final consequence, so the high end retouch method need to be utilized to fix faults in postures, make up, skin tone, outfits and the surrounding environment. In short, all distraction and undesired elements need to be removed.
