Casas del Turuñuelo (Badajoz) 5th century BC (indoors) | First stage of the Virtual Reconstruction at the archaeological site of Casas del Turuñuelo de Guareña (Badajoz, Spain), conceived as a work that will evolve at the pace of successive excavation campaigns, incorporating new spaces and revising the areas that require a new interpretation. This tool makes it possible to analyse the site's structures by means of updateable and reversible models based on a previously imagined model, studying the conflicting points, the possible solutions based on the materials and construction techniques used and comparing it with architectural parallels in order to discuss hypotheses about the construction of the building until a plausible conclusion is reached.
Construyendo Tarteso is committed to the socialisation and dissemination of the research project it carries out, and Virtual Reconstruction has become an excellent vehicle for communicating results as well as a research tool, which we perform in Real Time with Unreal Engine 5.
