The project at hand explores the world of animation, aiming to unleash the potential of imagination. Inspired by the renowned 9 Squares animation initiative, participants are invited to embark on a creative journey using the collaborative medium of animation. The objective is to create three distinct animations, adhering to specific themes and color palettes, within a defined 350px-by-350px three-second format. When combined, these animations form a visually captivating mosaic that showcases individuality while maintaining a cohesive composition.

Font
I deliberately chose the font Brandon Grotesque as a representation of my feelings towards typography. Brandon Grotesque is a font I frequently use as a substitute for Helvetica. It was created based on the original Helvetica typeface, which holds a significant place in the design world.
I love the type itself and appreciate its strength and versatility. However, my frustration arises from how it is often overlooked or overshadowed by more extravagant or decorative fonts. Helvetica, with its clean and minimalist aesthetic, can be perceived as unexciting or ordinary compared to more visually striking options.
By using Brandon Grotesque, I aim to highlight the power and impact of this understated typeface. It serves as a reminder that even in its simplicity, typography can possess a unique strength and contribute to effective design. The love-hate relationship stems from my admiration for the font's inherent qualities and frustration with its underappreciation in favor of more elaborate choices.

The Future of Design
Ideation
The concept for 'the future of design' incorporates three tiers: top, middle, and bottom, represented by a staircase symbolizing the stages of life. At the top, there is a ball that symbolizes the human mind and the highest quality ideas. Conversely, the ball at the bottom represents the worst ideas and design practices. These balls undergo a journey, with the top ball bouncing through the tiers towards the bottom, and the bottom ball bouncing upward, only to eventually land back where they started, forming a continuous loop.
This concept highlights how, in the future, we will repeatedly undermine our own progress. Despite advancements in technology and design practices, our journey towards greatness will perpetually be a struggle, akin to a never-ending war. Even as we strive for improvement, we will find ourselves reliving history repeatedly, starting anew time and time again.
