A wine label whose substance is manifest within the creative soul. It is tailored to those of an artistic slant, Scribbly Drivel is exactly that, scribbly drivel.
The design solution wholly mimics its name. The slapdash look and feel gives more readily to the idea, or folly, of the brainstorming artist.
The limited colour palette retains the look and feel of something in its initial stages of conceptual exploration.
The solution is not based solely on the drawing artist, but also for creative writing artist.
Both labels, front and back, were all hand rendered, then scanned into Illustrator to vectored then arranged. The same aesthetic was applied to the wine's box. The illustrations on the box are comprised from the same single line, starting at the front and wrapping around back to finish back at the front. The reason being to unifie the written line with the drawn line.
Here is a quick ad that could be found in a food and drink magazine, or, I'd sooner prefer, displayed in a literary/fine art publication. Creation can make one's mouth parched. Why not whet it down?
