These are some of the pictures I took during my family's trip to Japan in early August. All of the photos in this project are from the 2nd of April, 2023.

In these first few, I'm getting my bearings with the camera and learning what all I can adjust.

That day, we had gone out to the Sakura Festival in Ueno Park, and things were quite crowded. As the day progressed, we moved on from the central temple towards the outer edges.

As the day progressed, I shifted my focus from the blooming trees and bustling path to the people around me. Photography had been a passing interest before, but now I had time to dive a bit deeper.

We finished the day with snacks and drinks near this fountain in front of the Tokyo National Museum.
